Hi all,
Due to the upcoming World Cup Football Tournament, we are publishing the programme for June 2026 a little earlier than usual.
Please note that:
a) there will be NO JAZZ ON 23RD JUNE as England’s game is being shown in the Theatre Bar for Club Members and
b) there is a likelihood that the programmed band, for 30th June, The Desmond/Brubeck Experience, will not be appearing – either because England are on a winning streak or because the band may have found another gig, us having warned them of the potential football clash. If the latter happens, we will endeavour to book an alternative band – and will keep you all in the loop, as soon as we know ourselves.
Thank you for your forbearance – but plenty of great music still to hear till then including the “SUPER SPECIAL EVENING” ON 9TH JUNE FEATURING THE AMAZING TALENT THAT IS SIMON SPILETT, PLAYING WITH A REALLY EXCELLENT SUPPORT BAND OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS, AND, AS IT IS PART OF SIMON’S CELEBRATION OF 30 YEARS’ AS A PRO MUSICIAN – THERE WILL BE CAKE AND BALLOONS THROWN IN.
