Programme for December 2025

Kings Langley Programme – December 2025 P.docx

Here you are folks – the programme to see us until the end of the year before we take a well-earned break over the Christmas/New Year period, with a smash-hit return on 6th January 2026 (see below):

So:

Kings Club Seven with Jamie Andre on trumpet leading from the front

Cathy Wagstaffe – songstress extraordinaire with her band of expert musicians in support

Hertswing Big Band – Christmas Special – with CHRISTMAS RAFFLE – to bring our musical year to a close.

Please make special note of the early notification of a truly exceptional and exciting start to 2026 with:

Bob Haddrell’s Blue Jazz

Bob Haddrell is a well-known blues and blues-jazz pianist and vocalist (I’ve got 3 off his CD’s and they are fabulous) and you will have seen him supporting “the Special Pro jazzers” during 2025. It seemed only right to invite him and his select quartet for their own date at KLJC.

With Bob will be Peter Miles on drums, Jez Guest on sax and Gary Wood on trumpet/flugel horn. All masters of their instruments, and Bob and Gary like to do the odd vocal too – as is well known by the cognoscenti (ie those who know).

This performance will include music at the very Blues end of the Jazz spectrum, and you will absolutely love the drive, and energy that these guys put into their performance – playing both blues and jazz standards with skill and pizzazz.

It is the first event of 2026 – so put the date in your diaries – 6th January 2026 – as you most definitely do not want to miss what will be a truly stupendous evening of blanket jazz sounds.

Published by Kings Langley Jazz Club

Kings Langley's best kept secret. Our Jazz Club (KLJC) has been running for many years and meets regularly each Tuesday evening in the Theatre Bar at the Kings Langley Services Club. We love to see new faces and there is always a great welcome and friendly faces. Come along and see what it's all about. You will be surprised to find the many different types of music and styles that come under the banner of Jazz and we present pretty much all of them.
