Please also make a special note of our THIRD SPECIAL of 2025 when we are welcoming the wonderful tenor saxophonist Simon Spillett on 17th June, together with the fabulous backing band of Julian Bury, double bass, Bob Haddrell, keys, Gary Wood, trumpet/flugelhorn and Ronnie Fenn on drums. What a band! What a night it will be!
For those who don’t already know, Simon started his professional playing career at KLJC, being paid the grand sum of £5 on that night – he was still in his teens at the time. Because of that, he has a particular affection for our club, even coming along parking himself at the bar from time to time to check out what we are doing.
Not a night to be missed!
